Welcome to English 8!  Throughout the year, we will explore all of the areas that are typical in ELA classes, such as reading literature and non-fiction articles and practicing various forms of writing.  There are grammar, spelling, and public speaking components to help develop verbal and written communication skills.  Through our reading during the year, we learn about amazing characters, and subsequently, we learn about each other, ourselves, and our community.
