Grade 5 Science
The philosophy in my Science classroom is to have a warm and weloming place where the students can come in and feel safe and happy at all times.
The books that we will be reading from in class this year is from the Savvas program; Elevate Science.
We will also be conducting many hands on science experiments from the online platform; Mystery Science.
If your child misses school, the following information is provided to help you in their absence.
All classwork and homework sheets can be found on the Science Google Classroom under classwork with the correct dates for the week and clearly labeled.
If you or your child are unable to print any of these resources located on Google Classroom to hand in, the work can be shown on a separate piece of lined paper that can be turned in.
Your child may be receiving a Science Work Book that will go home with them from time to time for assignments. These Work Books are expected to come back to school the next day, every day.
