Grade 8 Math & Common Core Algebra
My name in Mr. Anthony Vaccaro. I have been teaching in the Potsdam District for the past 35 years.
I currently teach Common Core Math 8 and Common Core Algebra.
Common Core Math 8 is a study of linear relationships, transformational geometry, laws of exponents, volume of basic geometric shapes, and fundamental statistics.
Common Core Algebra is an extension of Math 8. It covers topics on linear equations and inequalities, exponential growth and decay, factoring and the use of factoring to solve quadratic equations in one variable. It also includes graphs of both linear and nonlinear functions along with some fundamental concepts in statistics.
