I am a proud graduate of all three Potsdam Central District schools - Lawrence Avenue Elementary, A.A. Kingston Middle School, and Potsdam High School (Class of 1989). After four years at the U.S. Naval Academy, I was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps and served on active duty for five and a half years. Returning to Potsdam to attend SUNY-Potsdam, I earned a master of science in teaching degree and began my teaching career in the Thousand Islands School District as a first-grade teacher in the Guardino Elementary School during the 2000-01 school year. The next year I found my way back to Potsdam and started in first grade. Following time as a kindergarten and third-grade teacher, I moved to my present position in the fifth grade at the start of the 2005-06 school year. I reside in Potsdam with my wife and children.
